I am trying to add new products to my District store, and they are not connecting to my existing collections, which are automatic and tagged. I am tagging the new products properly, but this is the prompt I see:

“There are no collections available to add this product to. You can add a new collection or modify your existing collections. Edit collections.”

I haven’t added new items for a couple of years and am so frustrated.

I would appreciate any help I can get.

Thank you in advance,

Hey, @SummitJewelry ! Welcome to Shopify Community!

Normally when you encounter this error message, it’s an indication that the product in question does not meet any of the product conditions set up in your automated collections. Do you mind sharing screenshots of your collection conditions and the relevant product attributes so I can double-check them for you?

Since you mentioned it’s been a long time since you last added new items, you might want to look at our doc on automated collections as a refresher in the meantime. You can check it out on this page.

Feel free to respond here with the screenshots anytime and I’ll help you further!

Hi @SummitJewelry

The problem may be because the product attribute you added doesn’t match the already existing collection. Can you kindly provide us with screenshots of the collection and products you added? This might make it easier for us to find the problem for you.
