Hello all! I have been trying to make the heading text size smaller but on the theme setting, it does not give me the option to do that. We are using the Modular Theme. I realized that my theme is outdated as well. Do you know how to update the shop’s theme to it’s most recent version? Please help. Thank you!

I did some digging and found a support guide from your third-party theme that outlines the steps you can take to update your theme. It’s possible that with this update, you may have more control over the text size of the heading. However, since this is a third-party theme I cannot guarantee that. The best course of action here is to get in contact with the Theme Partners for more information.
It is possible, that you will have to make some slight code changes to your theme to decrease the text size on your heading. If your theme partners aren’t able to help with those changes, you can consider hiring a Shopify Expert. I recommend checking out an Expert that specializes in theme customizations, such as the Experts listed here.
If you feel comfortable making the changes yourself, you can follow this guide on adding custom code. If you’re going to edit the code of your theme, I highly recommend duplicating your theme first. It’s also important to know how to roll back to an older version of your theme, that way if something goes wrong, you are covered.
