Since a sales channel cannot be chosen when creating a Draft order, the resulting order from the draft does not pull product from inventory nor sync with our inventory software. We are using Finale software and have no issues anywhere else with ordrs migrating over, only though the Draft proce
The draft orders won’t pull/deduct inventory until the customer actually purchases them. Once they customer has made their purchase, the inventory will be deducted from your “online store” sales channel’s inventory.
Thank you, but it is not working as you describe nor as we have experienced it. None of the draft orders that turn into actual orders get a sales channel assigned. This seems to be the reason that it is not being sent to the inventory software that we use. It is being deducted from our inventory level within Shopify though.
