cannot connect facebook account - message reads you dont have access

Hi there!

I’m trying to set up the meta pixel - I have installed ‘facebook & instagram’ app to shopify but once I’m in the app I click ‘get started’ then ‘connect account’ and my account comes up but the page presents a message that reads “You dont have access. This feature isnt available to you yet.”

It looks like a permissions issue. Try these steps:

  1. Check Permissions: Ensure your Facebook account has admin access in Business Manager.
  2. Business Settings: Verify your account is linked correctly in Business Settings.
  3. Reinstall the App: Sometimes reinstalling can help.
