Cannot Delete Archived Order - Impacting Score

Why is there not an option to delete an archived and cancelled order? I have one order that will not go away under my archived orders and now with the new updates I am getting this notification:

Review & fulfill your open unfulfilled order Go to unfulfilled orders You have 1 unfulfilled order sitting open — clearing it promptly directly lifts your on-time fulfillment rate.

This is now causing me to have a “60% on time fulfillment metric.” All of my orders have been always fulfilled on time, within my delivery times, and now I have a negative fulfillment metric due to this.

PLEASE ADD A DELETE BUTTON TO UNFULFILLED AND CANCELLED ORDERS.

This is not going to happen. Orders are records. They are Shopify’s records, not the merchant’s. If an order was paid, there is a paper trail, even if it’s canceled.

Fulfillment status is not the same metric as order status. Canceling and archiving an order does not mean the fulfillment status should change. Fulfillment status is literally a logistics process status. The items in a canceled order are not fulfilled, hence the fulfillment status remains unchanged.

The only request worth making is changing the UX of the Orders screen, and make it more customizable. Changing the structure, erasing records, not gonna happen.
