Cannot enable third-party calculated shipping rates as the block is loading

Hi !

I’m trying to enable the Third Party Calculated Shipping Rates with UPS on an Advanced Shopify store. But the problem is that the settings block is loading indefinitely..

I can wait there literally for hours before quitting…

Does anyone have encountered that before ?

Sidenote: I tried on Safari, on the iPhone Mobile App, on Google Chrome. I’m a collaborator of the website, added through the partners program, I asked for a full access to settings

This is a common scenario. You can try loading it after a few hours or so. This gets resolved automatically as per my experience, if not you can directly contact Shopify.

Per the advice of a previous poster, this could clear up after sometime. Considering it’s likely been 24 hours since the initial post, are you still encountering this issue now?

If the issue is persisting, I advise that you clear the cache and cookies for the browsers you’ve tested. You can also attempt to use an incognito window in Chrome or a private viewing browser in Safari to see if this adjusts things.

You can also ask the owner of the store to check if they’re having loading issues with this section, as well. If the section loads fine for them, and still has issues like this for you, this could implying you’re missing a permission setting and the owner may need to set up the UPS rates in this manner themselves. This wouldn’t be too difficult as it’s really just the entering in of the UPS account to be linked to the store.

I recommend that you check out these few ideas above. Just reply here if you have persistent issues after checking these few things out. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for your reply.
