Cannot see option to pay by credit card using Buy Button & Wallee integration

I really hope someone can help. I’m this is driving my crazy! I’ll set the scene, which is a bit complex:

  • I am building a site for someone on Squarespace (Done and happy)

  • They want to use the Shopify Buy Button integration (Done and happy)

  • They want to accept the following payment methods: PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, TWINT, Postfinance. This is where I am having trouble.

I came across an integration called Wallee, which looks like it should be able to allow me to accept all of the above payment methods. I have set up a Wallee account and followed all of the instructions to add the Wallee “Credit and Debit Cards” integration into Shopify, as below:

However, I cannot get the checkout process to show this payment option. It only shows Express Checkout as an option for PayPal:

Any suggestions would be amazing, thank you!

I also read somewhere that you can only have one third party payment provider. Would this mean that if I do get the Wallee “Credit and Debit cards” payment option working, I cannot use TWINT and Postfinance too?

Hi tenjidigital

I just wanted to let you know that we implemented ”Web2App Switch" on our Shopify TWINT Gateway.
Customer are now able to use a button to open their TWINT App, this means no copy of any code anymore.

BTW: This TWINT Gateway is the cheapest one, we only charge a yearly fee which is 120 CHF (excl. VAT), we don’t take any commissions.
