Canopy Theme - Adding a new Page with ability to Customise

Hi there,

I would like to add a new page and create the template using the available ‘sections’ using the customiser.

I cannot add a new template, and when I do manually I do not have the ability to add any sections from the front end customiser.

Please can someone help?

I am using the Canopy theme.

@summerkate - you can add new template and add required sections to it

How do I do this? I have tried to create a new template from the customiser but there is no option for me to do so. I also tried to do it in the backend and add the section to the code but the layout was all wrong.

@summerkate - you can go to theme code, create new page template, say new-template.liquid and add sections to it via coding, if you find it difficult then can you add me as collaborator? I will do it and show you, then you can decide if you want to do it that way. This template can be used but it can’t be used for more pages than 1. As if used for more than 1 then it will change content on all pages if the change is made.

May be you want separate template for separate pages, then you can try some page builder like page fly.
