Hi - I can no longer access my store as it’s no longer an option on my admin page. We launched the site about a month ago and I think the developer may have had their credit card as the payment method … so it might be a past due payment that is causing this. That said, I can’t access the billing page for the store in order to check and pay any past due charges. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi @joemaruc
I’m sorry to hear about this situation! Can you clarify what you mean when you say it is no longer an option on your admin page? Are you able to sign into the store admin? And do you have access to the account owner email address that was on file?
I would recommend you also contact the developer who’s card was on file for billing to ensure they didn’t open a chargeback on any fees they were charged for this store incorrectly.
Hi Shay,
Thanks for replying. I have been emailing with someone at Shopify billing - very nice but no sense of urgency or regard for the fact that we are a small business and rely on having our website up and running. Apparently the CC on file was one that wasn’t ours or according to the developer not theirs either! We launched the site in November and it has been in development for 6 months… so I am new to Shopify. We never received notification that it would be moved to inactive and it has now been down for 2 days (a lifetime for a small business!) The resolution is to upload a photo id and CC statement showing Shopify payment… WHAT?! How can I show that when the reason we are here is that the CC on file wasn’t ours?? So just waiting on Shopify to get back to us… How about a phone number so that I can talk to someone and resolve it quickly with a CC? How about instead of shutting down a small business, you work with them to resolve an issue. For a company that claims to Champion small business, I am pretty disspointed.
