Can't add to cart with color variant change

I have a few products with color variants. The quick add button allows choice of color and add to cart. On the main product page, the add to cart button doesn’t work after switching color variants. I’m using the Dawn theme.

Previous answers to this same question did not actually list out the solution for me to try. They are just marked resolved.

Please send me the code of main-product.liquid file, I will help you to check it.

Or you just copy the whole main-product.liquid file at the link and paste it into your theme file, it will work fine: https://github.com/Shopify/dawn/blob/main/sections/main-product.liquid
