Can't Cancel Fulfillment with UPS 2nd Day Air?

I purchased a UPS 2nd Day Air Label through Shopify. After, I wanted to cancel fulfillment. There is no option to. cancel fulfilment. Why not? I can with USPS Labels Purchased via Pirate Ship.

Greetings, and thanks for posting. As you can see in your screenshot, the ‘void label’ option is currently greyed out. This can happen for a few reasons:

  1. The label has been used
  2. It has been more than 30 days since the label was created
  3. It has been less than 24 hours since the label was created.

If it has been less than 24 hours since the label was created, you will see the ‘void label’ option populate after this period.

If none of the above are true, please reach out to our live support team via the Help Center as you should be able to void the label without issue.

You can’t void a label if it’s been less than 24 hours? What happens if I created the label with the wrong weight or dimensions? Or the customer cancelled the order. I have to wait 24 hours? Ridiculous. Pirate Ship you can cancel label immediately. And Shopify wonders why it struggles.

That said, I wasn’t looking to VOID the label, I wanted to CANCEL FULFILLMENT - a completely different function. As mentioned in original post, I can with USPS Labels, but apparently not UPS. :roll_eyes:
