Can't create AutoDiscountApp though there is no AutoDiscount in Shopify admin > Discounts

Hello everyone,

We got a weird issue in that we can’t create the auto discount app using GraphQL in the customer’ store although they don’t have any auto discount on the Shopify admin > Discounts.

The response message we got was “The active period overlaps with that of another price”. The store owner tried to install other apps working with AutoDiscountApp, but the same issue happened.

Has anybody got the same issue? Please help me to share your experiences with this situation. Thank you!

I’m still experiencing this issue on one of my development store. No automatic discount app can be created. 2 errors occurs:

  • The active period overlaps with that of another price rule

  • Title must be unique

But the same code works for other development stores… Weird
