Can't get product to appear in my online store

This is my first store. All I have is one product that I added as a draft but I cannot add it to my online store. I don’t want to make it active yet but I do want to see it on my end (not the public yet). I’m trying to get it in a specific box. I was able to change the text above that box to ‘T-Shirt available’ but I cannot change the text ‘Example product title’ or the price below the box nor add the product into the box. I provided screenshots

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I’m happy to provide some assistance with making products available to the online storefront, to get this resolved. To provide some context, enabling Password Protection will allow you to successfully view and make edits to the online storefront, while ensuring customers are restricted. I recommend checking out our Password Protection Documentation for steps on how to enable this on the shop. It outlines however, you can:

  • From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Preferences.

  • Scroll to the Password protection area, and check Enable password.

  • In Password, enter the password that you’ll give to the customers who you want to be able to access your online store. Don’t use the same password that you use to log into your admin.

  • In Message for your visitors, enter the message that you want to show on the password page. If you don’t want to show a message, then leave this field blank.

  • Click Save.

Once the shop has successfully been password protected, you can proceed to make your products available to the online storefront. To achieve this, products will be required to have an Active Status and be set to Available on the online sales channel. I recommend checking out our Adding and Updating Products documentation for more information on how to complete this. It outlines:

  • From the Shopify admin, head to Products.

  • Click the product’s name to open its details. The product is available to the sales channels listed in the Product status section.

  • Set the product status as active.

  • Click Manage.

  • Select the channels and apps to make the product available to.

  • Click Done.

  • Click Save.
