Can't log in to account after changing email address: any solutions?

May I ask where you went to change your account owner’s email address for logging in? To clarify, this email address is used to contact you about your Shopify account and is separate from the store contact email address that your customers use to contact you. Please ensure that you’ve followed these steps to change your email login:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Users and Permissions.

  2. In the Store owner section, click your name.

  3. Click View account settings.

  4. Log in to your account.

  5. In the Details section, click Change email.

  6. In the New email box, enter your new email address.

  7. In the Password box, enter your current password.

  8. Click Change email.

If you’ve already followed the steps I provided, and are still facing setbacks, please reach out to our support team so that we can access your account and take a closer look. To do so, head to Shopify Help Center. Once you log in to your account you can create a support request through live chat, email, or callback. To do so, type your request in ‘Ask about a topic’, scroll down to ‘Get Support’, and then click ‘Continue.’ From there, you can submit your request to speak with an advisor.
