We have tried with multiple browsers, cleared cache and browsing history and we are unable to log into our Shopify backend. How do we fix this? How do we get support if we cannot log in?

What status page?? And no we have not seen any notifications from Shopify

Is this a common occurrence? We just migrated over from Wordpress to Shopify and this is scaring me. There’s no notification, this is the first thread I am seeing on this issue. What type of nonesense is this? This platform is way too expensive for all this
@msbelleo looks like many people facing this issues which can be due to shopify services issue, it should be back in sometime
No - not common. They must have a system outage. Been on Shopify since 2012 and this issue rarely happens.

Is there a way to get some type of ETA? Is there an announcement page where we can keep up to date? How does support work in these situations?
@msbelleo usually it does work very quickly and many times issues are solved in 20-30 minutes

Some merchants encountering error messages within their admins

Note ironically for authentication issues like this that merchants cannot login for details
“Detailed status for your store can be viewed here.”
and yeah that means also not being able to login for support /shrug.
While not a common thing the way shopify reports things makes it really difficult to even put in percetages ; and “99.999%” uptime guarantees etc are always playing a game with statistics.

Hope Shopify gets this worked out very soon! Like everyone else have a pile of orders we need to process! We were able to stay logged in for a short while & thought we’d be ok until fixed, but now we were abruptly logged out of all pages despite the Shopify instructions on their status page, “Please remain logged in on any devices that are currently logged in” Has anyone managed to stay logged in?
