Can't see how much money my discounts are "saving/making"

Topic summary

A Shopify merchant cannot view monetary data for most of their discount codes. While one test discount code displays usage statistics correctly (showing amount saved/used), the other four active codes only show basic information without financial metrics.

Troubleshooting attempted:

  • Checking Shopify’s built-in discount reports (Analytics > Reports > Discounts)
  • Adjusting date ranges in the reporting interface
  • Verifying that sales have occurred using the codes (3 out of 5 codes have confirmed usage)

Current status:
The issue persists despite troubleshooting. The system appears to recognize only one discount code in reports, even though five codes exist and three have been used in actual transactions. Screenshots confirm the discrepancy between what should appear versus what’s displayed.

Recommended next step:
Contact Shopify support directly, as this appears to be a platform-level reporting issue that requires technical investigation beyond standard user troubleshooting.

Hi, I probably have a very common issue—I can’t see on how much money my codes have been used. However, I can see the usage for one discount code I created as a test.

But after this one, my other codes just look like this.

(It doesn’t say how much money was used on it.)

Hi @QingPL ,

Shopify provides this as a report out o the box. Can you check this once and see if this solves for your needs ?

Here’s how the report would look like when opened

Hope this helps

The problem is, i only see one, when i have 5 of discount codes

Have you tried adjusting the date range for the report?

Also you’d need to have sales come in using the discount for it to show up
in the report

Regards

Sadly, i tried and nothing changes, i think shopify somehow thinks i only have one discount code, i have sales on 3 of 5, so i should be able to see them

That’s odd - I’d advise to get on with their support team.

They might have better insights into why this is the case.
