Can't upload file, upload button is greyed out

Today, when I went to the “files” page, the “upload files” button is greyed out and there is a message at the of of the page stating “The uploaded files are being processed in the background”

But no files have been uploaded recently, so I don’t know what’s going on.

Is it possible to somehow reset the page so that I can start uploading again?

Just wait for some time there may be some file you uploaded but that file still uploading

Well, it turns out this issue resolves itself after 24 hours when the Shopify server clears its cache.
