I am trying to upload a gif in the image slide section on my theme but when i add the gif it says the file is corrupted, I have read online that you have to do some edits to the code to use gifs but i cant find any clear instructions on how to do that.

Hi when i try to upload it to the file drop area in the reply button it says .gif are not supported
I am able to upload the gif in the assets section when you click edit code on the theme, is it possible to add to my homepage this way?

Hi sorry for late response i was on vacation
I figured out you can upload a gif in a zip folder but not upload directly, here is an example of a gif that is not working on my store
