I’m trying to include a file reference metafield in my shipping confirmation email. The file reference metafield is on the order object. The file reference is an image. I want to include a link to the image file in the notification email. However, the only way it shows up in the email is either as a GID (which seems to be useless) or as a “no image found” link when I try to add the img_url filter to the metafield tag. Are file reference metafields just not allowed in notifications emails? And, is there any possible workaround to this? Any help is greatly appreciated as I’m completely stumped.
