Cart Abandonment Research: Share Your Biggest Frustrations

Hey everyone,

I’m conducting research on e-commerce challenges and keep hearing about the massive problem of cart abandonment.

I want to understand this from the source - the store owners themselves.

If you run a Shopify store, could you help me by answering any of these questions?

· What’s the most frustrating part about seeing people add items to their cart but not complete the purchase?
· Have you tried to fix this problem before? What did you try, and why do you think it didn’t work as well as you hoped?
· On a scale of 1-10, how much does a high abandonment rate keep you up at night? (Where 1 is “not a problem” and 10 is “I’m losing sleep over this”).
· If a perfect, affordable solution existed tomorrow, what is the single most important thing it would need to do for you?

I am not selling anything. I’m just trying to figure out if this is a widespread, painful problem that’s worth solving. Your honest input would be incredibly helpful.
