Just started using Shopify so I’m very much a newb 
I’ve added a required tag to the cart notes textarea which works when using the Checkout button.
But when clicking on either Apple Pay or Google Pay the intended error gets bypassed appear.
Also the Notes do not save to order when using one of those accelerated payment methods. Is this a known bug or can it be resolved easily enough?
