Shopify MUST add cash rounding to the US market! Clearly it’s doable, as it’s available in other countries. Getting pennies is now a major challenge here in the States. I cannot trust that everyone will do it properly and we need a notice on the receipt if we do it.

Ridiculous. With an uneven sales tax (anything more complicated than 5%, 10% or something similar), that’s next to impossible to do properly.
This is not complicated and other POS systems already have it.
And no, we are not going to pay for yet another app.
How exactly is it challenging? I don’t think you’re in the US. Everything here revolves around cents and percents. Every store, every gas station, everything you do has cents. I haven’t seen a whole dollar price in years and that was in Alaska at a flea market.
