Has anyone (specifically in Canada) had success getting the POS to round cash payment transactions? Seems like it should be a simple process here considering we don’t have pennies but even with ‘Price Rounding’ turned on we have no luck. Tried a chat with support and go nowhere fast either other than telling me I could pay for an additional app.

Any suggestions?

I’ll take any sort of access but feels weird to call it ‘early access’ when Canada hasn’t had pennies in circulation in 10 years. Our old beast of a system had it with no issues so it wasn’t even something I would ever think wouldn’t be set up already, especially from a Canadian company.

We subscribe to POS Pro for 3 x retail locations to take advantage of automatic discounts and all the Shopify rounding apps we have tried don’t work with automatic discounts. We desperately need this automatic rounding feature, as our daily end of days are incorrect as it is showing cash totals of $99.87 which is impossible in Australia, as the closest cash would be 5cents. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes please, I’m in Australia so we round to the nearest 5 or 0. Having access to cash rounding would be great!

It is shameful that a Canadian company has not considered this basic feature for its clients! Furthermore, the GST on baked goods is not automatically removed when 6 items are added to an order. These laws apply to all Canadian provinces and territories and should, therefore, be an integral part of both the online and POS channels!

I am in the same situation. Agree with all the comments. Some of the most basic features are not available like rounding to the nearest 5 cents or reloading gift cards. Please add me to the list please.
