(THEME: DAWN) Whenever I load my site on mobile, there are a few images that don’t appear in full resolution. However, if I rotate my mobile to landscape mode they change to full res - and remain that way when I rotate my mobile back to portrait view.
The quality of the images are always fine on desktop. Product images are also loading in full resolution - it just appears to be home page images I’ve added in the “image with text” sections and also one on my about page.
Can anyone offer some help? Happy to share URL for experts to take a closer look too.
*Chat GPT says this: When the website loads on a mobile device in portrait mode for the first time, it might initially load lower resolution versions of the images to ensure faster loading times. When you rotate your device to landscape mode, the browser might be triggering a reload of the page or the images, leading to the higher resolution versions being loaded. When you switch back to portrait mode, the images are already cached at a higher resolution, resulting in better quality. Sounds like this is probably the issue - but can anyone tell me how I fix? Thanks
