Change Background & Text Colour in individual Sections (Impulse Theme)

Hey lovely people

I am working in the Impulse theme and I want to be able to change the text colour on individual sections eg. rich text on the home page and the answers to questions in the FAQ sections.

It feels like it should be something really simple and I’m missing it.

I’d really appreciate your help
