A user needed to change the background color of policy and contact pages from white to gold (#CFB47F) in the Dawn theme.
Solution provided:
theme.liquid file</head> tag that targets pages containing ‘policies’ in the URLAdditional issue resolved:
The user also reported unwanted white space appearing above the footer on all pages. A similar CSS solution was provided by inserting additional code in the same theme.liquid file to remove this spacing.
Both customizations were successfully implemented, with the helper providing before/after screenshots to demonstrate the results.
Theme: Dawn
I’m trying to change the background color from white to gold (#CFB47F) on all of the link pages (Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Terms Service, Contact Information) on a Dawn theme site.
I included an image to see that I’m trying to change the background color white to gold from one of the link pages below. In the image I’m highlighting the Contact Information as an example.

Step 2: Search file theme.liquid
Step 3: Insert this code above tag:

The white area use to not be there. Now it’s showing on every page. Did something happen?
