change colour of my coded lines

hello, i added some code to part of my store so that there are lines to separate some sections. In this code, there is a colour option, but every time i try and change it, it just stays white. I would like the lines to be a light grey, similar to the separator line in my footer:

here is an example of one of my lines i have added on my store. As you can see, it’s just a white line - i would like it to look like this colour:

which is like a subtle grey line (this is a line in my footer which i didn’t add with code)

1. Go to Online Store → Theme → Edit code.
2. Open your theme.liquid file
3. In theme.liquid, paste the below code before

1. Go to Online Store → Theme → Edit code.
2. Open your theme.css / based.css file and paste the code in the bottom of the file.

that is great, however, in your code you have added some random lines in some places - is there any way you could make the lines just for the places where the original lines were?
