Kindly need your helps here.
I am using Dawn theme, I want to change the default show vendor on the collections>product grid to a custom metafields, so I can display brand name instead of vendor’s.
The reason why I want to do so is because the vendors/suppliers I used are different from the brands, so to keep everything on track, I prefer to keep vendors as vendors but use metafields for brands. I have successfully used the metafields I created on the product page and the filter, it’s just I can’t figure out how to replace the default vendor with brand metafields on the product grid in collections.
I assume I should probably change the codes in the product-card.liquid as shown in the image below, replace all the codes related to vendor with the metafields I created for brands, but I am not a tech person, this issue is beyond my capability, so your helps and advices are much appreciated!

I know a little bit how to edit the code and already did so a few times in my store, but I have no clue how I can set a custom meta field which already created and added to a my products instead of the vendor name.
