Change featured collection numbers to dots on Dawn theme

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how to change the numbers on the featured collection carousel to dots on Dawn theme?

Basically it looks like this now:

And I’d like to change it to something like this:

If anyone knows how to do this please let me know. I’m literally desperate. Even asked some web designers but they couldn’t do it.
