Change from Hover Over to Click To Open on Header Menu in Avatar Theme OS 2.0

Hello

I am using the Avatar theme for OS 2.0.

In the header section, I am needing to change from the Hover Over Dropdown Menu in the header to a Click To Open Dropdown format. My navigation has a few categories that are very deep and the end user cannot scroll down to see the lower part, when the mouse leaves the drop down area the drop down disappears. Unfortunately I am not able to change how deep the dropdown is.

I’ve seen a great deal of code and such for the other themes, but I am not confident on this theme what to change. Can anyone help me with this with suggestions?

Hello Dave,

It’s possible but not without customization. The things which you have to do it is, a) remove the css which opens the dropdown on hover b) implement the click function.

If you are good with JS you can check this example.
