Change Number of Gallery photos in row from 1 to 2 on homepage

Hi!

I am using the SHOWCASE theme and I’ve added gallery on my website homepage . When I open my site on laptop it is showing me 4 gallery images per row (which is perfect) but when I open my site on mobile it is showing only 1 gallery collection in a single row and I want two gallery images to be displayed in a single row on mobile view. There is no option unfortunately to do this - only one for desktop. I had a look at the gallery.liquid code to see if there was something small I could tweak but could not find anything there. Is there a bit of code to that I can add to give row options for mobile?
