Hi,#### On my Shopify product page, I want to add some options:1. Just like the pizza shop website when the user selects a product he is provided with an option to select toppings of his own choice and then the product’s price also changes
- I want to do this by using custom code ( don’t use any app )
- I have created check boxes but am unable to change the price on base of the checked boxes.
These checkboxes are working well but I am unable to change the price of the product by using checked options
I have done this by using a custom code and I want the change in price by using a custom code
It’s not possible to do this without using a “product options” app (https://apps.shopify.com/search?q=product%20options).
If you were to set this up using variants, then the customer would only be able to select one possible combination. Ex. From your screenshot, they wouldn’t be able to select both “Option 2” and “Option 4” … they could only pick one of the 4 options, in addition to picking a ‘Size’ option.
You will definitely need to use an app to achieve this functionality.
May be you are right
But those apps were also built using coding
I want that code
Because apps are very costly
No one is going to give you their app’s entire back-end worth of coding for free. You’d have to buy the coding (or hire someone to code it from scratch) which would cost more than years worth of just using an existing app.
If you can’t afford the product option apps, then you should just sell pre-made pizzas, instead of letting customers pick their toppings. Ex. setup product variants for “type of pizza” and list “Pepperoni”, “Ham & Pineapple”, etc.

And then you can use the ‘order notes’ functionality, to let customers tell you if they want any of the toppings removed (wouldn’t affect the price).

Globo Product Options (https://apps.shopify.com/product-options-pro) has a $9.99/month USD plan, which allows for price-addons. You could cover the cost of the app by selling a single pizza. It’s worth it, for the functionality that it provides.
Hi @kaptanusama ,
