I’m launching this summer and I want to have users land on a different page than the current password page. I don’t want them to land on the store’s home page either as I’ll still be building it. How do I tell Shopify to send users to a specific page I create? Not sure yet which theme but I’ve used Debut before but currently using Brooklyn because the edit to change password page background worked on it.
Backstory - I was considering using wordpress on a subdomain to manage the pre-launch experience & content + Klayvio signup form but I read somewhere that Shopify can handle it.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi there,
Jack from OpenThinking here!
Usually to do that you need to password protect your site, and your theme will show a landing page where you can collect emails etc.
Another option would be to have a Live theme with only 1 file for all pages where you display your landing page.
Otherwise you can make an overlay div and use that as a landing page.
let me know if this works for your. If yes; accept my answer and give me thumbs up! Thank you.

Thanks!
I’m aware of the password protect feature/page and that’s what I’m using now. The problem is I need to be able to add more content to that page that will act as the landing page for my pre-launch marketing efforts. A video, free downloadable content, signups for affiliate program, and email list. I can’t add this content with the current password page.
My thought was if I could 1) designate another page to use instead of domain.com/password OR 2) turn off the password feature and change the default store page to a new page I create.
Any other ideas?

As I previously stated you can do that in multiple ways.
Another option is to find an app which lets you do that; Try here
