Change sizing background buttons and menu drop down background

Hi, I have tried to change the background colour of my buttons (add to cart, email signup etc) but to no avail. I also can’t change the background colour of my add to cart drop down menu like the other drop downs.. Please help! I also need to put button lines around my sizing on the pages!
