Is it possible to update the colour/size of this alert info in the checkout? I want to make it more obvious when a customer doesn’t add a house number in their address line.

Unless you are on a higher Shopify plan, checkout page is not modifiable.
OK thanks. The site is only on the basic plan. Any apps that you recommend for Checkout changes/ address validation?
