Change the soldout photo opacity for taste theme

so I’m having trouble finding out how to change the front covers opacity for sold out items on the front page by editing the code. I have found many fixes for the change but none of the changes seem to work with the taste themes and the only code that actually changed the opacity changed the opacity for all the items on my products page and I was wondering if anyone had a viable fix for this issue.
