Hello Shopify,

I am currently working on to modify one of our company’s website . I have an updated version of video which is being displayed on the BlogPost Section of our website. I have to replace the video with the new one. I unable to find a way to do it since there is no place to edit the Blog Post and if I create a new one the default Blog Post section with the existing video is getting added. Kindly help me with this issue or suggest me a way to modify the blog section.

To determine if the video is present on a specific page or on all blog posts, please check:

  1. Is the video appearing on a single blog post page only? Open a few different blog posts to verify.
  2. Or is the video showing up on the main blog listing page that displays excerpts of multiple posts?
    If the video is on all individual blog post pages, then it is likely part of the blog post template. If it only appears on one specific post, then it was probably added directly to that post’s content. To modify the blog post template:
  3. Go to Online Store > Themes in your Shopify admin
  4. Find your current theme and click the “Customize” button
  5. Look for a section labeled “Blog post” or “Article”. Click on it.
  6. Look for a setting related to “Video” or “Featured Media”. This is where the video is probably being added from.
  7. You can either choose a new video to replace the existing one, or remove the video entirely by deleting the video file.
  8. Click “Save” to update the template.
    If you don’t see any options for the blog post template, the video may be hardcoded into the theme files. In that case:
