A few hours ago I bought a domain trough Shopify (www.marinocorredi.it). All my products of Google Merchant are now “Not approved”, error “mismatched domains [link] in [Shopping_ads]”. I check if the link is correct in Google Merchant - Business Information - Website and is correct (https://marinocorredi.it), verified and claimed.
I check in product page if the URL is correct, and it’s correct. I don’t know what to do.
I also have errors on my Domain page in Shopify about Record A, CAA, DNSSEC and nameserver but everything appear correct. Can you help me?
Go to google merchant center > products > diagnostics > click on mismatched domains > click on a product > go to the bottom of the page and view the final attribute information > and you can also view the other sources to find where the wrong URL is coming from.
In Google Merchant Center, a “mismatched domain” error typically occurs when there is a discrepancy between the domain in your product data and the domain on your website landing page. Visit the landing pages (the URLs of your products) to ensure they lead to the correct website with the matching domain. If you have recently changed your website structure or moved your products, be sure the links are updated. If you find any discrepancies, update the URLs in your product data feed to match the domain of your website. Make sure that all product URLs are consistent with your website URLs.
After making the necessary updates, resubmit your product data feed in Google Merchant Center. Allow some time for Google to process your updated data feed. Once processed, the “mismatched domain” error is resolved, and your products should be approved.
Hope this helps.
I checked the url both on the site and in Google Merchant and are correct (https://marinocorredi.it/products/...). Now I have 11 product approved and 751 not approved, I haven’t changed anything since yesterday
You could try to speed up the process by forcing a re-process.
You can do this by downloading all your products in GMC, then upload only the IDs in the supplement feed.
If you need a more detailed guided tour: https://feedarmy.com/kb/how-to-reprocess-content-api-in-google-merchant-center/
No change, also if I click on the new feed and open “global feed issues” I have the error “File not found.”
EDIT: Ok, now, in a few seconds, I have 681 products approved and 81 disapproved.
I think it work!
1st you need to wait at least 24 hours, GMC will not instantly check all pages, it will take a week or so.
For the second part, make sure to set your spreadsheet to share publicly. Then fetch again in GMC.
Hi, I am also having an issue. I had a DreamHost website that connected to my Shopify store. This was connected to my Google Merchant and Google Ads account. Everything was fine. Then, I wanted to connect my Shopify store to my Youtube account, but I was unable to do so unless I created a Shopify Online store. So, I did that, but it caused me to have two different websites: The original DreamHost website, and the new online Shopify store which both displayed all my products. So, I changed my DreamHost website to DNS Only and redirected my DreamHost domain to my Shopify Online store. All my products removed from YouTube and were all disapproved on Google Merchant. I gave it a few days and then they were all approved and all back up on YouTube. However, when I go to Google Ads, they are all Not Eligible. The reason for not being eligible is Mismatched domains [link] in [Shopify_ads] [US] error and I do see that the URL on Google Merchant for each product is different than the product URL on my website after the Domain name redirect. I have way too many products and variants to manually edit the URLs. What do I do/
Make sure that the URL in GMC for the website verification located in top right corner > gear icon > business information > website
Matches the URL in GMC > products > all products > click on a product > scroll to the bottom > final attributes.
If that is not the case, make sure to update whatever is the wrong value.
Thank you. I thought it was the same the entire time, but I just realized that the gear icon shows https:// and the products show http:// and the gear icon is the correct domain. So that means that the products need to be changed to https:// . Is there any way to update the products without having to manually do each one? There are thousands.
Correction, some of the products do show https and some show http, but they are all showing ineligible.
So your first task, make sure everything is http if you can’t fix it.
You could use feed rules to fix the issue: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/7450276?hl=en
