changes to trial theme keep showing on the live theme???

Hello, I am making changes to the trial theme and its changing the live theme and I don’t understand why. I am only in the customise trial theme. I think they are linked somehow but don’t understand how. It wasn’t before but I did something to connect them.

Can you give an example of change you are made? one theme cannot effect on other theme unless we made some changes in other then the theme. ie some product attribue
