I’m new to shopify design, assistance would be great! I would like to know how I can change the color of my checkout page theme as right now it’s blue

A Shopify store owner wants to customize their checkout page, starting with changing its blue color scheme to match their site’s branding.
Initial Solution:
Additional Requests:
Key Limitation Identified:
Shopify severely restricts checkout page customization beyond basic options like colors. The checkout uses a standardized API shared across payment providers, preventing custom styling of text formatting, button removal, or extensive layout changes. Paid apps might offer additional customization options, but native Shopify settings only allow limited modifications like button color changes.
Status: The discussion remains open with the user’s additional customization requests unresolved due to platform limitations.

Go to your theme’s customization and select ‘Home Page’ from the top-middle of your screen. Then select ‘Checkout and Customer Accounts’ and style them however you like.
This worked, thank you. I would like to know how I can make the text bold for the checkout page as it is bold for my whole site except the checkout page.
Can you please share your website’s URL?
Yes, please help! www.tra1t.com
Can you also provide the password please?
Sure, the password is
Which text you want to be bold in the checkout page? The headings look bold to me? Do you want the placeholder in the text areas to be bold, and also the checkboxes text?
All the text in that page and the thank you page etc I’d like to make bold. Because that’s the same font I use throughout my site but throughout my site I used the bold version so I want to keep that same aesthetic.
Unfortunately, after some research, it turns out that you have limited control over customizing the checkout page—you’re restricted to the options Shopify provides, so you can’t style it exactly as you’d like. There might be apps available that allow for customization, but you may need to pay for them. Why is this the case, you might ask? It’s because the checkout page isn’t solely Shopify’s; it’s an API that Shopify and many other providers use to implement a standardized checkout process. You can also see that the url of the checkout page is weird right? That’s because of the API.
Ok thank you. Do you know how I can remove the ‘Need help contact us’ Button located in the ‘Thank You’ page
Yea sure. Where is the thank you page?
I’m not sure how you will be able to acces it as it appears once the user purchases something they get a ‘Thank You’ page.
Unfortunately, no, because the Thank You page and any other pages that are part of the checkout process are not customizable.
The only thing you can do is to change the button color.
Oh ok, am I able to change the ‘Continue Shopping’ button text and replace it with ‘Go to Tra1t Inventory’
