Changing date and time to just date in exported reports

Is there a way to change the setting on my reports so that the date of a sale is reflected as just a date and not the date and time? If not, is there a way to convert the date column in excel to just show the date and not the time?

I’m trying to run sales reports by date.

How about the Sales Over Time report?

I don’t have that report - I’m have the Shopify Basic account

I don’t think you have any Sales reports then, other than the Orders export.
