The page width in the Dawn theme differ for the different pages like the policies, product pages and created information pages, see attached photos.
I have already managed to change the page width for the policy pages via a post I found in the community.
But hopefully somebody can help me with information on how to change the page width for the information pages created like ‘about’, ‘painting & prints’ ect so that the text has the same width as the header on my website.
To make the text width on your information pages match the header width in the Dawn theme, follow these steps:
Go to your Shopify admin and click Online Store > Themes.
Click Customize on your current theme.
Open the information page you want to adjust.
In the left-hand menu, find the Section Settings for that page or click directly on the text area.
Look for the Width or Layout Settings (you might need to click “Theme Settings” at the bottom).
Adjust the Max Width or Padding to align with your header width.
Save your changes and preview to check.
If there’s no direct option, you may need to add custom CSS via Online Store > Edit Code. Add a class for your info pages in the CSS file and define the width there.
Unfortunately that doesn’t work. That only changes the page width for the theme settings and not for the pages I create.
The same thing was the case for the policy pages, but I found a solution for that in another post where the solution was to add a code in the theme.liquid file.
But I don’t know anything about coding, so I don’t know how to rewrite it that it is applicable for the information pages aswell.
