Changing Testimonials background colour (Turbo theme)

Hi,
I’m using the Turbo theme from Out of the Sandbox and would like to change the background colour to the testimonials section on each of the products. There is an option to add customs CSS, however, when I add the standard background colour CSS, it just doesn’t work. Does anyone know how this can be changed?
