Changing the background colour on product/collection pages with a certain tag?

Is there a way to force the background colour to override from the main theme if a product/collection has a certain tag? OR

I have created a different template for page, product, and collection and within the customise section I can modify blocks etc. Is there a way through coding or otherwise that I can also have a different colour scheme to the main theme colour scheme?
