Hello,
I currently have an ongoing campaign on Facebook and Instagram. However, I am encountering an issue with customers visiting the landing page, which was my homepage. Some customers add different items to their cart but do not complete the purchase. In an attempt to improve this, I have changed the landing page to showcase the dress collection that I have been promoting on social media. Unfortunately, it seems that customers are still leaving the website immediately upon arrival. I suspect this may be due to the landing page or the dress collection being on the default Shopify page. Is there a way to adjust this collection to be more appealing without the use of a third-party app? Some have mentioned that customers liked the design of the ad, but were disappointed when they reached the collection page. I am unsure if this is true. How can I make improvements without using third-party apps, as I have already used them to modify two collections and a Shopify default product page?
Thank you.
Find a way to ask some of them about it. Recognize you are bringing a sprawling vague problem to a space that needs better smaller scoped problems to get any real actionable solutions that actually fix fundamental business issues.
The “default” collection page is /collections aka the collection list
The url structure for the online-sales channel is not changable.
The most you can do is use redirects , or theme customizations to try and render different content.
The default /collection/collection-handle page “design” is controlled by the choice of themes and how you’ve edited it.
Beyond that technical basis it’s not very clear what your asking to achieve that isn’t solved by using the theme editor or theme customizations or the learning curve of experience and money.
“more appealing” , “improvements” etc etc etc are incredibly ambiguous and subjective ways to poorly frame a problem.
See the store feedback forum https://community.shopify.com/category/ecommerce-gallery keeping in mind most “solutions” are cliches you can find by googling how to make better converting web pages that may or may not actually fix anything fundamentally wrong.
“seems”, “suspect” are good ways to waste a ton of time and money, especially with self prescribed solutions, see xyproblem ****.
You need a concrete definitions with a better plan to get actual data to inform and back decisions, see ab-testing/split-testing services and apps or hire CRO agencies.
Hi @PaulNewton
Thank you for your prompt response, Would you be able to give me feedback on my website so I can address any issue? or my dress collection to know what I can improve? Thank you in advance.

Choose an industry and niche, the store looks like every other dropshipping course store.
Do you spend money at stores that look like yours you’ve no ones ever heard of before?
If you had a small physical brick and mortar store would you set up the doorway with a bunch of nonsense and stock the shelves with random things?
Get rid of all the doodads your not making sales with them anyway, if an app can’t prove it’s ROI it’s probably costing you money.
Shrink the header.
See the store feeback forum.
Hi @PaulNewton
Thank you for your constructive criticism. I have posted on the store feedback forum but have not received any feedback. Instead, I have had individuals reaching out to me through my DMS and WhatsApp claiming to be Shopify experts looking for financial gain. Additionally, I have received some strange comments on my Facebook page. Do you have any suggestions on how I can improve my website? I have already made some changes such as shrinking the header and editing my Home and product pages. Is there anything else you would recommend I do?
Apologies I should have been more specific , by “See the store feeback forum” I literally mean research the feedback-forum.

Hi @PaulNewton
Thank you for your continued support. I have added product reviews to my product pages and collections, as well as updated the design of my homepage, product, and collection pages. I would appreciate any feedback you may have on these changes.
Thank you.
