Main issue: The homepage logo lacks visibility because the header background is transparent; the requester wants a permanently white (or gradient) background on desktop and mobile. Hover currently turns it white, but they want it always on.
Guidance provided: Use theme customizer > Header settings to control transparency and overlay behavior. Look for options like âsticky navâ (fixed navigation on scroll) and âlogo over sectionsâ (logo/header overlaying a slideshow or image), and turn off the overlay/transparency.
Outcome: The requester located the relevant settings and resolved the issue by disabling background transparency. In their theme, it required selecting two separate, somewhat unintuitive options to achieve a constant non-transparent header background.
Status: Resolved; no further action needed. Screenshots were shared to illustrate the visibility problem but were not necessary to apply the fix.
Without knowing the URL of your site, or which theme youâre using, itâs going to be hard to give you a for-sure answer. With that said, most themes have a setting within the customize theme area (under the âheaderâ settings) for controlling âsticky navâ or âlogo over sectionsâ. There should be an option to turn off the logo showing over the slideshow/image section, within the âheaderâ settings.
Yes I managed to find where the option was just after I sent out the request.
You were correct, as there was a way to de-select the background transparency, but in this particular Theme, I had to select 2 separate options that do not really go together and didnt make sense, but got there at the end.
