Changing the product cards on the collection pages - Dawn Theme

Hi, hoping for some help with the way products display on the collection pages on the Dawn theme… I’ve been playing with the code but I’ve had no success.

I want each product to display as a single row, picture on the left and 2x columns to the right that I can display metafields in. Similar layout to the one below.

So far I’ve set the products per row to 1 in the theme editor, and I’ve played with card-product.liquid and component-card.css, I’ve changed things to test the effect but just can’t get the layout to work.

Any suggestions on how I can achieve this? All advice welcome!
