I am using choro dial theme. I want my hamburger menu on phone to be slide form left side of the screen but instead it just keeps on dropping down below. Does it change from header style or some liquid code?. Pictures are attached.

I think you want to make like this:
To implement this, the followings are necessary.
To adjust the sidemenu height.
To make the burgur icon not hidden when opening sidemenu.
To toggle sidemenu when clicking on the burgur icon.
This can be done with JavaScript and CSS. However, it is a bit difficult to work and test without permission to edit code.
