Previously I turned on the tipping function at my store’s checkout as the tips would go to one of our charity partners. I had the text saying the tips would support that foundation. Recently I realised the text had reverted back to saying tips would support my company - not at all what I want.
So I turned the tipping off, edited the text, turned it back on and it’s still wrong. I’ve tried multiple times and it still says tips support my company.
Does anyone know what’s going on here and how I can fix it?
Hi ZBK, you may visit Settings>Checkout>Manage Checkout Language in your Shopify Admin.
You may change the type in “Tip” at the search bar, scroll down on the result you will be able to see “Checkout tips”, you may change the default description to your preferred description.
I’ve currently turned off the tip because even though I have it set up to say the tips will go towards the charity we’re partnered with, it says the tips support our company…which just looks bad…and cheap. SO I’ve turned it off.

Thanks for your reply, however, this has already been done but the text doesn’t show up on the checkout page. On the checkout page the text says the tips are to support our company, but the text in ‘checkout tips’ in the location you described above, says the tips go towards the charity we partner with.
When I first set it up, it worked, but I just realised last week that it had reverted back to the original text and despite my efforts, it still won’t work.
