I followed your directions, and provided the information and my bank account has been charged for a $45.00 tax for a sale that never happened. My website was never published to the public, yet Shopify allowed people to order products while I was building my website on a shop app I was not even aware of. Shopify needs to correct this mistake.
I was told by AI to talk to a live advisor. When I tried doing that I could not get an answer. I kept getting the same response over and over. I was unfairly charged a Marketplace tax for $45.00 after refunding 12 orders that was placed through an app I was not aware of call SHOP. The items are not listed on my website but are in my inventory. How did that happen? Shopify allowed people to order products from my inventory while I was still working on my website. And now I cannot get the help I need to correct this problem. I refuse to pay $45.00 for a tax on which there was no sale. I hope someone see this post and offer a solution. I feel I have been abandoned by Shopify and my bank account is compromised
